To gain an audience we tried to create the most simple but yet effective way to promote our thriller. We created a Facebook Page or 'Primate' and tried to get as many people (friends/family) to share and like our page. We were inspired by the Dark Knight/TDKR marketing franchise when they released several clips of the film when tasks were completed. Our task was on a smaller scale and of course had no money put towards it. So our inspiration motivated us to release the opening sequence but only if we had over 25 likes on our page. Small but yet effective. We reached over 35 likes and gained over 460 views on YouTube. We designed a 'Primate' poster as an advertising technique to give the public a quick synopsis of the thriller and who made it.
